Latin Cemetery or Marble Cemetery (Alabaster Cemetery)
It is located in Bab Sharqi district, north of the current site of the Black Head Temple.
The Latin Cemetery is considered one of the most important monuments found in the area, where it was discovered in 1907 and consists of a large burial chamber of huge pieces of alabaster,
a rectangular room with a flat roof that surrounds the door and the lintel, its frame and walls. Smooth from the inside and without decorative elements,
Archaeologists suggest that this building may be part of Somma (the royal necropolis), specifically the tomb of Alexander the Great.
