The Library of Alexandria is in front of the Theoretical Faculty Complex at the University of Alexandria at Al-Shatby and its northern facade overlooks the Mediterranean Sea at the mouth of the chain.
The library's location borders the Corniche and the sea to the north, making the library look out over the magnificent view of the eastern harbor. The presence of the conference center on an area of 5000 square meters helps to improve library services.
