Cathedral of St. Catherine
It was named after St. Catherine, St. Catherine was born in Alexandria at the end of the 3rd century AD, and her father was one of the scholars of the city interested in her teaching and education, and had a great deal of intelligence, dignity, and beauty.
She studied Christianity and worked for its spread among the pagans of the city until she was martyred by the Romans, after she was tortured and later beheaded in 307 AD. The cathedral is located in Mansheya, in St. Catherine's Square
