and it was called the Black Head in the ancient name (Tabrosis Parva) and this temple is considered as the only in Egypt in which a group of marble statues were found in the forefront of which is the goddess Isis in its Roman form as well as all of the gods Harpocrates Hermanubis and Canopus.
The latter is carved in the form of a beautifully made jar.
The temple was also found on a beautiful votive foot of marble above a base and engraved in Greek in the name of the temple builder, who is called Isidorus, who appeared to be the owner of a palace that built this temple in his garden, and this foot provided an offering to the goddess Isis likely to save him from a race car fall accident. This temple dates back to the second century AD.
This temple was moved by its site in Sidi Bishr to its current location, in the Bab Sharqi area on the way to Al-Hurriyah, next to the Latin Cemetery, after dismantling and re-installing it in 1993 to protect it from the surrounding environmental factors.
