The Mosque of Khedr al-Ansaris
The mosque was named after Sheikh Khedr al-Ansari, who is one of God's saints. He was the brother of Jaber bin Abdullah Al-Ansari and it belongs to the Sufi doctrine.
Originating from Andalusia, they traveled to Morocco and then to Libya and finally Egypt because it was then the center of Sufi scholars such as Sheikh Abu al-Abbas al-Morsi and Abu al-Daraa.
Sheikh Hunter Al-Ansari and Sheikh Jaber Al-Ansari were both sheikhs and scientists; people loved them and as time went on the number of their fans increased.
Sheikh Khadr al-Ansari had a profound effect on the souls of his students and became famous for his love of religion and forgiveness. The mosque is located on the Faransa Street in Mansheya.
