The Ali Bek Genena Mosque
Its origin is attributed to Prince Ali Bek Genena, who headed the Alexandrian Council of Commerce in 1853. The mosque occupies a rectangular area and is one of the suspended mosques.
It has two main facades, northeast and northwest. From the inside, it reaches the prayer house via a staircase with two wings, and is made up of the prayer house - the Mihrab, the minbar and the "open ceiling".
Ali Bey Genena Mosque is located on Al Baqtariah Street, on Ali Genina Street and the mosque border is on the northwest side of Ali Bey Genena Street and crosses many shops and houses on the southwest side of Al-Sagha Street and the main road leading to Ali Bek Genena Street in El Sekka El gedida Area.
