The zoo
The zoo was founded on the site of the ancient suburb of Al-Yawsis (Jannat Al-Naeem), founded by Ptolemy II.
The park contains rare species of lions, tigers, leopards and birds from Asia, Africa and Europe. A rare museum of mummified animals and birds. This garden leads to the promenade gardens with a magnificent marble gate next to each of Antoniadis gardens and roses from the east and this garden is one of the most beautiful and largest gardens in the Mediterranean basin.
