Abi Alabass Al-Morsi Mosque
It is attributed to Sheikh Shehab Al-Din Abu Al-Abbas Al-Ansari Al-Morsi, who was born in Andalusia in 626 AD and in the year 1242 as he went to Mecca his boat sank and of all the passengers he died alone. He stayed in Tunisia,
where he met with Sheikh Abu al-Hassan al-Sazli and traveled with him to Egypt and lived there until he was buried in Alexandria in the year 706 AD at the Bab al-Bahr cemetery, until Sheikh Zayn al-Din al-Din. -Katan, Alexandria's chief merchant, built a mosque.
The construction of the mosque was renewed several times until the Ministry of Donations decided to build the mosque in its current form and create a spacious square around it. It was built in Andalusian style.
