Royal Jewelry Museum
The Royal Jewelry Museum is located in the Zezenia area of Alexandria and is one of the only architectural masterpieces built in European style. The building was originally a palace for the noble "Fatima al-Zahra", a nobleman of the royal family of M. Ali who ruled Egypt since 1805 AD. until the Revolution of July 1952.
The palace consists of two wings, east and west connected by a corridor, and the building is surrounded by a garden. In 1986, the palace was transformed into a museum with a large collection of royal jewelry and rare antiques of the M. Ali dynasty.
In its ten halls, the museum presents more than 11,000 selected pieces of the finest and most valuable jewelery and royal antiques such as medals, medals, gold necklaces, watches, smoker sets, gold and platinum kings and princesses jewelry, gold and platinum jewelry , crown with diamonds and ivory boxes, Gold drink sets, diamond swords.
The historical period covered by the exhibits: the period of the reign of Muhammad Ali Pasha's family from 1805 to 1952 AD.
